We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Officer with a passion for primary healthcare and community wellbeing to join our Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs team.
The position is offered as either full-time or part-time (0.8FTE) and will have the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week post induction and training.

**The Role**
As the Project Officer for Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD), you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our MHAOD team. You will be supporting the development, implementation, delivery and reporting of a range of MHAOD projects and commissioned programs and providing administrative project support to members of the MHAOD by:

- Providing a range of project management and support services, including the development of project documents and collateral materials for the MHAOD team (e.g. project plans, discussion papers and briefs).
- Monitoring deliverables across strict timelines and identify and mitigate risks that could impact progress and deliverables in line with operational plans.
- Contributing to stakeholder partnerships and engagement by participating in internal and external meetings and sector events, and delivering formal and informal presentations.
- Developing and implementing systems to collect, organise and utilise various internal and external data and information.
- With guidance, reviewing, updating and maintaining various documentation and resources including operational guidelines, work instructions, policies and procedures.
- Undertaking desktop research and collate information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Tertiary qualifications in health (e.g public/allied health, health/allied science), project management or relevant field/experience.
- Demonstrated problem solving, research and data analytical skills and capacity to present information and data logically and coherently.
- Ability to liaise and consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and senior level staff through high level interpersonal and communication/engagement skills.
- Knowledge of primary mental health and alcohol and other drug sectors, including population health and social determinants of health is highly desirable;
