**Job Description**:
Are you a night owl? Are you reliable, engaging and motivated, with an eye for detail?

**What you will be doing**:

- In absence of a Night Manager, oversee the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation
- Check and prepare reports & statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures
- Balance Food & Beverage point of sale transactions and credit card transactions to journal reports
- Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
- Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests

**Qualifications**:
**Your experience and skills include**:

- Previous experience in a similar position
- Service focused personality is essential
- Prior experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera (or a related PMS system). POS experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of a second language is an asset
- Availability to work overnight, with shifts rostered from 11pm to 7am
- Valid and current First Aid + CPR
- Valid South Australian RSA and the ability to hold RP badge
- Full Drivers licence
