**About the Role**

Working closely with the Senior Accounts Payables Officer and finance team, this role will be responsible for the processing of payments and ensuring invoices are posted on time, accurately and in the proper accounting period. In addition, the role supports the broader finance team in other general accounting and administrative functions as required.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Process and code invoices accurately and promptly in a high-volume environment.
- Process payments for creditors and expense reimbursements as assigned in accordance with trading terms.
- Reconcile suppliers/creditors statements.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve any invoicing queries.
- Handling the AP mailbox inbox and mail distribution.
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative duties.
- Create purchase orders in finance ERP system as and when required.
- Other tasks as assigned by Senior Accounts Payable Officer or Finance Manager.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- You have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Certificate III in Accounts Administration desirable.
- Experience in a high-volume accounts’ payable role.
- You have intermediate excel skills and have exposure with the Microsoft suite.
- You have a high attention to detail; you take ownership of tasks assigned to you and are self-driven.
- You have demonstrated working knowledge in Finance ERP, and other operational systems integrating with a financial system.
- You have a strong communication skill, written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, assertive, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working in airlines or transport industry would be advantageous.
