Assistant Service Manager (2IC) - Busy Bees at Pimpama

Location: 2a Guara Grove, Pimpama QLD 4209
Licensed Capacity: 108 places
Hourly Rate: $38.09 - $39.34 (WT 5A.1 to 5.4)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Service Manager (2IC) to support the leadership team at Busy Bees at Pimpama. In this role, you will:

- Assist the Service Manager in leading and mentoring educators across the service
- Step into the Service Manager role when required to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support in staff management, rostering, enrolments, and compliance tasks
- Build strong partnerships with families, children, and the local community
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Busy Bees policies
- Drive continuous improvement and quality outcomes for children

What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
- Previous leadership experience in early childhood (e.g., Room Leader, 2IC, Educational Leader)
- Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Organisational and operational management skills
- Current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid & CPR
