Opportunity
As a Food Services Assistant/Care Companion, your primary role is to provide our Coasthaven Community residents, families, and staff with assistance in the delivery of meals across the residence and support for the home in line with service standards and the food Safety Program guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Delivery of meals across dining areas within a residence.
Ability to work with other catering staff and assist with the preparation of basic food stuff if required or directed by supervisor.
Provide support for function planning and delivery.
Ensure all catering facilities food safety program schedule is adhered to.
Assist customers with service delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Ensuring all staff in catering department maintain safe food handling practices and compliance.
Model and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Baptcare’s Mission, Vision and We Care Values.
About You
A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member
Ability to listen and understand our client's needs and requirements
Availability in work over 7-day roster.
Relevant Industry Training - Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
Previous experience working in an aged care or industry Catering team
Knowledge of Food Safely and HACCP compliance
