About the Role
The Team Leader works closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to coordinate resident care, ensuring that each resident's individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive and respectful environment.
**Your main duties will include**:
Actively participate in resident care, understanding their individual needs to meet care plan requirements
Offer social and emotional support to residents, focusing on holistic and person-centered care
Aid in coordinating residents' care needs, including medication, nutrition, hydration, and pressure care management
Identify and report resident concerns to the Registered Nurse or Clinical Care Coordinator
Assist with meal delivery and food service, promptly responding to resident requests regarding nutrition and hydration
About you
Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required
