Navitas Skilled Futures (NSF) is looking for the next Opertional Team Leader to manage and grow the AMEP program across its main city site and the offsite in the ACT.

Additionally, this role is responsible for overall responsibility for the provision of high-quality customer, administrative and operational services for all clients. The Operations Team Leader is also responsible for the delivery of services to ensure NSF meets program compliance requirements.

**Working as part of NSF’s Operational Team, tasks and responsibilities include**:

- maintaining quality standards and compliance with contract KPIs
- seeking continuous improvement in the operational delivery of programs and services
- ensuring effective registration, assessment, and enrolment processes are in place
- liaising with Academic Team Leaders to coordinate the timetabling for all classes at the location
- overseeing and coordinating the effective integration of all non-teaching services
- checking and recommending for approval staff pay claims and payroll reports
- managing local invoicing and monitoring expenditure budget, including petty cash, handling refunds and banking monies
- liaising with relevant staff for asset maintenance and stock takes, including teaching resources, furniture and equipment
- ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures
- assisting with providing local IT trouble-shooting support and building the IT capability of academic and operations staff
- liaising closely with relevant staff to organise local events, including graduation ceremonies and open days
- administering operational audits and client feedback surveys and liaising with the Operations Manager on the analysis, reporting and actions to address survey findings
- Management of offsite locations

**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of the operational requirements in an educational site setting to ensure quality delivery and to fulfill reporting and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage financial budgets
- Demonstrated effective leadership and management of teams
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work tasks effectively
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, language, literacy and numeracy skills in a multicultural learning environment
- Demonstrated ability to engage with local community forums, external agencies and service providers
- Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our clients
- Displays initiative, innovation and flexibility in the coordination of people and programs
- Previous experience in government contract management
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance in the regulatory environment
