Due to internal movement, WesTrac are currently seeking a **Logistics Purchasing Officer** to join our Flexi Parts & Mining Services WA team.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Logistics Purchasing Officer is responsible for the procurement of goods and services, payroll and management of the departments team site and record keeping of safety related documentation.

A strong, client-based work ethic is paramount, as is the ability to liaise with suppliers to ensure services are provided on time and within budget. The Purchasing Officer is also responsible for the processing of all department invoices, ensuring all costs are correctly allocated into their appropriate accounts using SAP and DBS. This role sees the position at front of store to greet our customers to assist our sales team and direct where required.

**Location**: Perth Branch - Flexi Parts (Perth Airport).

**Roster**:Monday - Friday, 8-hour days.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Previous Purchasing Officer experience within a sales environment or significant administration experience in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal.
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite).
- Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives while working successfully within a team and autonomously.
- High attention to detail, as well as being able to gather, analyse and interpret information/data.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac’s SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
