**The Position**

**St John of God Mt Lawley** is a 205 bed private hospital located on the banks of the Swan River. We are a major provider of Rehabilitation and surgical services across Western Australia. We have vast experience delivering inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation to both public and private patients. Our services are supported by a team of experienced leaders, nurses, allied health and medical caregivers.

- **Learning and Development Coordinator**
- The
- ** Learning and Development Coordinator** is responsible for coordinating the delivery, assessment and evaluation of Learning and Development programs and initiatives in accordance with the identified needs of caregivers and the organization within their area of responsibility. The Coordinator is part of divisional resources, reporting to the appropriate Divisional lead but works closely with the relevant Learning and Development Regional Manager to enable delivery of services within area of responsibility against agreed outcomes
- Knowledge of principles of Occupational Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity legislation, and current registration as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is highly regarded._
- This role is on a Permanent Part time basis, work 60.8 hours per fortnight.

- Possession of a Tertiary degree or equivalent in a health related discipline.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Significant recent experience as an educator in a healthcare environment.
- Extensive experience in training needs analysis and delivery and evaluation of education programs and initiatives using the principles of adult learning and a range of educational approaches.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and supervise a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to support and implement change management plans successfully.
- Extensive understanding of quality improvement and the ACHS accreditation process and evidence of using education to produce quality outcomes with the healthcare setting.
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and blended learning strategies and the range of MS Office packages**.**
