**About the role**:
We are looking for experienced Credit Recoveries Specialist to join our Customer Operations team based in Melbourne, reporting to the Manager - Credit Operations. This role is predominantly responsible for finals portfolio debt ($40m) (non-active) status - incorporating closed treatment, Mercantile referrals, legal proceedings, insolvency, Deceased Estates, Default listing, Debt Sale Forward Flow, write offs and bad debt recovery.

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with contracted third party vendors
- Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities in services, systems, process and procedures
- Identify opportunities to champion challenge vendors and look for opportunities to accelerate the debt sale
- Liaise with offshore team for administrative tasks management
- Set targets for external agencies and track performance to targets
- Reducing the doubtful debt provision

**Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Strong relationship and vendor management skills
- Strong credit skills with knowledge of credit and privacy acts
- Proven operational experience in a customer service/credit environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules
