Come and discover the opportunity to join our Technology team as an Executive Support Officer - Technology. This role is a Permanent role that must be able to work from or travel to Port Kembla (preferable) and/or Mascot.

**What Will You Do?**

The Executive Support Officer - Technology provides high-level executive and effective operational support to the office of the GM Digital & IT. This includes supporting the GM Digital & IT and Technology Leadership Team by way of coordination, office management and meeting logistics for key technology governance groups. The position helps ensure that the strategic priorities of the GM Digital & IT are executed efficiently and on a timely basis while enabling strong coordination across the broader Technology Leadership Team.

This will be achieved by:

- Proactively managing and maintaining the calendar of activities for the Technology function, ensuring all events, key meetings and activities are scheduled and executed efficiently
- Overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the GM Digital & IT, ensuring a smooth and effective operating schedule, and proactively and promptly addressing any operational issues. This includes proactive diary, travel and communications management of the GM Digital & IT
- Anticipating needs and coordinate briefing materials, presentations, and reports for meetings and stakeholder engagements
- Providing operational support to the Technology Leadership Team, including coordination of leadership activities, tracking key deadlines, and maintaining records and documentation
- Coordinating with internal departments and external vendors on behalf of the GM Digital & IT
- Partnering with the GM Digital & IT in driving improvements in processes aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the running of their office and the Technology Leadership Team

- Extensive experience in a senior Executive Assistant or Business Support role, supporting a CIO, CTO, or senior leader in technology
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and effective time management
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in business reporting requirements
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work autonomously, handle sensitive information, and manage competing priorities
- Ability to influence and manage a diverse range of stakeholders with different (and often competing) priorities
