About the Division
Enterprise Technology (ET) is a branch of the Investment and Technology division which defines investment strategy and deliver commercial and information technology services to drive high performance and improved commercial outcomes within the department.
The Service Operations team in Enterprise Technology focuses on delivering IT services that unite people, processes and systems to form an integrated, high performing and efficient Department of Transport.
About the opportunity
This position provides end to end management of strategic platforms across DoT such as Azure, AWS, M365, ServiceNow and WoVG API platform. The Platform Specialist implements policy as per the platform governing authority's direction and is the single operational co-ordination point for platform functions including Governance, Commercial, Policy, Service Management, Operations, Delivery and Support.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the below:

- Expertise and experience in designing, developing and delivering IT capabilities across a wide range of IT disciplines.
- Ability to independently build, nurture and manage multi-disciplinary teams across end-to-end platform lifecycle functions including governance, commercial, policy, service management, operations, delivery and support
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills including the ability to negotiate and influence decisions at senior leadership levels both internally and externally.
- Expertise and experience in designing, developing and delivering IT capabilities across a wide range of IT disciplines
- Ability to lead multiple objectives and activities within a large program using effective judgement in prioritisation and planning to deliver an agreed scope of work, within agreed timeframe and budget, to achieve desired outcomes.
