We are a medium sized firm in Parramatta with various businesses in the one office. We are seeking an experienced Full Time - Receptionist to join our team based in Parramatta. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.

You will have proven experience in reception and office administration with a satisfactory understanding of accountancy practices. To be successful in this position, you will also demonstrate excellent personal presentation and communication skills. You must have an eye for detail and a "can do" attitude. You will need to be able to work well under pressure, being confident but also easily adaptable.

This position will suit someone who is mature minded with high level of professionalism. You will need to be able to speak fluent English. The role is 75% Receptionist and 25% Accountant tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Answering high volume calls to service the 3 steams of our business;
- Building strong, friendly relationships with all internal and external stakeholders;
- General administrative tasks, e.g. drafting letters for the ATO, data entry into excel files and configuring mail in outlook;
- Managing office - Preserving and ensuring all kitchen, stationery and all other office supplies are ordered in a timely manner;
- Post outgoing mail, organise couriers and accept deliveries;
- Photocopying, printing and binding of reports as required;
- Meeting and Greeting Clients - Organising meeting rooms, diaries and bookings;
- Processing invoices when required using handi soft system.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 1+ Years’ experience in an Accounting Practice with reception/ administration experience.
- Relevant secondary/ tertiary qualifications within Business Commerce: Accountings /Finance/ Tax; or currently undertaking CPA or CA.
- Reasonable understanding of individual Tax returns
- Reasonable understanding of ATO practices.
- Must have a satisfactory understanding processing BAS's and company financials.
- Understanding of basic accounting practices within a small/medium firm.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
- Must be proactive and able to work autonomously especially under pressure.
- High attention to detail and maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and investigation skills.
- Professional presentation.
- Motivation to develop and grow within a fast-moving accounting practice.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parramatta, NSW 2150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MS Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
