- Manage full function fortnightly payroll in a collaborative team.

**The company**
$40 million subsidiary of a multinational organisation, who import and distribute customised niche devices. They have operations across NSW and Victoria, and a diverse customer base.

**The role**
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, you will have responsibility for full function payroll.

**The responsibilities**
Your new role will involve:

- preparing and processing the fortnightly payroll for 125 staff across two Australian business units.
- managing the outsourced monthly payroll for four staff in the New Zealand business unit.
- managing month-end activities such as payroll processing, super, payroll tax, workers compensation and payroll analysis.
- preparing quarter-end closing activities and managing the quarterly payroll rolling forecast.
- preparing annual bonus payments.
- preparing year-end payroll including payment summaries, payroll tax and super.
- supporting the financial accounting team with month end tasks.
- at least 2 years full function payroll responsibility in a medium sized business.
- an understanding of accounting principles.
- MS Excel skills including v lookups and pivot tables.
- excellent communication skills.
- experience using a mid-top tier payroll software such as ADP, Sage Meridian or Preceda.
