**Associate Data Scientist**

**Due to major growth we are expanding our Operations team in Perth and currently looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join the team.**

**Key re**sponsibilities will include**:

- You will participate in design sessions with teams to discuss and scope solutions
- Help with the end-to-end execution of the data science process: From understanding business requirements, feature set & model development to deployment
- Collaborate with other Data Scientists to create frameworks, packages and tooling for reusable and robust ML/Experiment solutions
- Communicate/present complex topics in an understandable way to stakeholders
- Design and conduct experiments for the business to understand the impact of various initiatives

**What you will bring to the role**:

- You have a quantitative degree in Actuarial Studies, Applied Mathematics/Mathematics, Statistics, Physics
- You are proficient with languages like Python and SQL
- Knowledge of applied statistics: distributions, explanatory modelling, hypothesis testing, experiment design
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms: Regression, Classification based problems etc.
