DC Managers ensure the successful operation of a site. They encompass a safety-first mindset, can lead a team to achieve by setting and managing attainable goals and they ensure that customer service is at the forefront of what they do and how their teams operate. **What will you do?**
- Ensure that safety, training and discipline within the site is upheld by all employees
- Manage the sites profit and loss (PNL) and meet daily inbound and outbound SLA’s
- Lead, mentor and provide performance reviews to your team
- Facilitate weekly direct cost reviews and toolbox talks
- Sign-off on labour planning and manage labour costs and rostering within site
- Ensure that MHE is operating at full capacity
- Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers (waste, cartage, freight carriers)
- Identify operational optimisation opportunities through slotting, consolidation etc
- Maintain inventory accuracy through process controls of inbound, outbound and inventory management functions

**What skills will you have?**
- Minimum 5 years operations experience gained within consumer goods/ecommerce
- Recent Automation Experience
- Ability to align the culture of your team with the companies vision
- Proven track record of improving efficiencies within a distribution environment
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, organised and effectively solve problems with an innovative mindset.
- Confidently build and maintain trustful, meaningful relationships by utilising your advanced interpersonal, communication and commercial skills
- High level understanding of PNL, labour planning and project management

**Additional requirements**:

- Prepared to undertake any additional training to complement the operation.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residence.
