**About the role**

We are seeking an exceptional **Customer Service Consultant** to join our dynamic team at Startek’s Ambulance Victoria Campaign. This 35 hour per week part-time role is integral in providing high-quality customer service and support to our valued Ambulance Victoria membership base. As a Customer Service Consultant, you will be the voice of Ambulance Victoria, delivering exceptional experiences and outcomes for our customers.

**Details You Need to Know**
- Start Date: Wednesday, 18th of September 2024
- Comprehensive Training for 5 days in a classroom setting followed by two weeks of on-the-job training
- Rotating Roster: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Permanent 35hr Part Time Contracts with Startek -Ambulance Victoria - guaranteeing 35 paid hours per week
- Permanent Pay Rate of $25.80 plus super & leave & benefits

**What you'll be doing**
- Respond to enquiries from the public providing professional and empathetic customer service through a variety of channels
- Make Outbound Retention calls to existing members
- Provide accurate information and guidance to callers on Ambulance Victoria services and processes
- Escalate complex enquiries to the appropriate team or department
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all customer interactions
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and contribute to process improvements
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and compliance requirements

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment, preferably within an administrative or insurance-based sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and empathetic manner
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle complex enquiries
- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Experienced in using CRM systems and technology to deliver efficient customer service
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
