Squad Swim Coach

City Venue Management are recruiting for a full time Squad Swimming Coach, at Miami Aquatic Centre. Rackley Miami Squad program is one of our largest squad programs, with around 400 swimmers, inclusive of Junior through to Open National, and Surf/Fitness squads. The Miamim Aquatic Centre features two 50 metre pools, a purpose built Learn to Swim Pool and Gym/recovery centre. The role is a full time salaried position and will be based at the Miami Aquatic Centre

**Key responsibilities;**
- Coaching the Junior and Bronze Squads including development and oversight of training programs
- Working closely with the Head Coach and coaching/teaching staff across all squads, including assisting with the National Age and Performance Squads
- Attending and encouraging swimmers to attend club nights and promote joining the Miami Swimming Club to compete in Local, State and National level competitions
- Coaching school groups and teams during school swimming terms.
- Working closely and collaborating with swim school managers, swimming teachers and all of the Miami Centre team
- Collaborating and working with other coaches across the Rackley Swimming group.

**About You**
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can build and balance the multifaceted nature of the role. Key traits and experience we are seeking include:

- Prior coaching experience is essential
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with swimmers and stakeholders and take them on a journey to their personal best
- Leadership and collaboration skills, willingness to engage and mentor junior coaches whilst open to continued personal and professional development
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously

**The qualifications required for this role are**:

- Coaching accreditation - ASCTA Development or Higher
- S&C - Lv1 Strength; Conditioning desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in movement, science of the sport desirable
- Current Blue Card
- Lifeguard qualification
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check
