Quality Control Officer

**The Job**

Based in our brand-new production facility in Canningvale WA, you'll be part of a the team responsible for managing the quality of produce received by suppliers and also, the quality of boxes produced. You'll be working closely with the wider team and be expected to carefully check goods in/out, monitor temperatures and take samples. You will maintain standards by verifying test results and audits comply with food safety regulations and requirements responsible for ensuring that food products meet the established standards of quality and food safety set by both HelloFresh and regulatory authorities.

**What you'll do**
- Inspect Raw Materials along the process, from incoming goods to stock reconciliation after production
- Conducting pre-op checks in line with quality standards
- Identify and report any non-conformances according to HelloFresh DC quality standards
- Identify and isolate, both physically and in the system, non-conforming items
- Trigger and follow up actions with regards to items put on hold according to the processes in place
- Liaise with warehouse management to ensure proper material flows through each production steps
- Adhere to all OH&S requirements
- Liaise with your Manager to prevent risk of depletion due to non-conformance
- Liaise with operations to ensure a smooth and Food Safe production
- Comply with both Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety regulations

**Who you are**
- Previous experience working in a quality role (6 months) or education related to the Quality and Food Safety
- Good understanding of the Food Safety requirements
- Familiar with the food industry
- Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
- Experience in a food production environment will be desirable.
- Be available to work weekends and early mornings.
- Be available to travel to Sydney for training if needed
