**Outside School Hours Care Service Assistant**

**$28 - $38 Per Hour + Generous Allowances**

**Casual position**

**The Opportunity**

**Extend** Children at **Macquarie College** in **Newcastle **is looking for an **OSHC Service Assistant** to play, teach, and take care of them in a safe learning environment at After School Care.

**The Role**
- Before School Care
- 6:30 AM- 8:30 AM.
- After School Care -2:30 PM- 6:00 PM.
- Holiday care for upto 6 hours.
- Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
- Supervise and support children.
- Prepare and serve healthy food options.
- Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
- Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community.

**About You**
- Engaging and warm personality.
- Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- You hold qualification in Children’s Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children's services.
- Hold or studying towards an ELC qualification is an add-on advantage.
- Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
- HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (willing to obtain).
- Available to work on Tuesday and Wednesday.
