T**he Role**:
This is an exciting time to join CDC NSW in its high growth period as a Bus Service Planner in Seven Hills head office. This role is responsible for providing support to the Service Development Manager in the planning of bus service networks operated by CDC NSW. The position provides information and reports to both internal and external groups where appropriate.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that service plans comply with the requirements of the contracts between the government and CDC NSW.
- Develop business cases for new or altered public route and school networks.
- Assist with design of new networks using land use and behaviour data.
- Maintain bus service data such as On Time Running, Opal and student listings.
- Awareness of longer-term planning data such as Journey to Work (JTW), Household Travel Surveys, Local Demand Surveys.
- Provide advice on bus related traffic engineering matters where requested / appropriate.
- Effectively work with unions regarding service changes, maintaining working relationships.
- Work with the relevant authority developing strategic corridors and bus priority works.
- Represent CDC at traffic committees, council planning meetings, community meetings, industry briefings, schools and other committees as appropriate.
