We currently have two Product Lead positions available in Sydney: one is a permanent role, and the other is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

**You'll be responsible for**
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of the portfolio strategies for products/portfolios under the role remit, incorporating insights from market, competitors and customer research, and ensuring it is appropriately reflected in our annual Financial Plan.
- Analysing the portfolio, including identifying result drivers, variations from target and the preparing of communication to convey findings.
- Monitoring trends and growth opportunities, including the identification of underperforming segments and suggesting appropriate actions to remediate underperformance.
- Contributing to the preparation of portfolio reports and insights development to be tabled at relevant forums.
- Liaising with the pricing team to review the pricing analysis and outcomes of pricing changes and perform appropriate analysis to input towards the commercial pricing decisions in order to achieve portfolio performance in line with pricing governance and risk frameworks.
- Implementing pricing decisions including the testing and communication to stakeholders.
- Supporting the implementation of rating tool changes and additional data sources to enhance portfolio performance.

**About you**
- Significant experience in a product and/or portfolio analytics, development or management role in a complex matrixed general insurance organisation.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks, and competitors within the insurance industry as well as the dynamic levers that influence these factors.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and contribute to the provision of pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to explore business insights and trends to identify and translate potential for operational improvement, growth and/or cost saving opportunities.
