Our team supports the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of used lubricating oils, other solid and liquid wastes, including workshop and industrial wastes.

**Your new role**
- Operating and monitoring processing equipment
- Loading, unloading and movement of solid and liquid waste streams on site (not household waste)
- Transferring waste from collection containers
- Conduct waste sample analysis
- Diagnose faults in plant and equipment
- Maintain efficient plant operations
- Completion of service documentation using technology-driven device such as mobile phone apps

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience working with and operating fixed plant and processing systems (pumping equipment, crushers, filter press equipment, compactors, bulk liquid transfer).
- Experience in waste processing and or waste treatment facilities would be advantageous
- Previous experience operating in an industrial environment
- Established commitment to safety and the environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic maintenance skills
- LV Licence necessary
- MR/HR vehicle licence desirable but not essential
- Forklift Licence necessary with proven minimum 5 years’ experience
- Ability to operate a mobile device (phone / tablet / computer)
- Hazardous Materials / Chemical handling advantageous
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and must be a team player
