Your Impact

Reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, your new role as Group Head of Employee Communications & Experience will see you play a crucial role in driving a great experience for our people. As a key member of the People & Culture Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic advice and thought leadership in the development and shaping of nib’s people strategy and agenda, with a focus on providing excellent customer-centric service and solutions by partnering with our clients across the organisation.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of an innovative employee experience strategy, including managing nib’s ongoing hybrid work transformation, employee listening strategy and employee events, to ensure our employees to feel connected, empowered, well-informed and have great experiences at work.

You will also be accountable for the continued transformation of the nib Group Learning and Organisational Development function, ensuring the execution of best practice Leadership and Employee Development programs and initiatives.

Additionally, you will oversee the development and execution of employee communications activities including internal communication strategies, advice and support, crisis communications, executive communications, change management and platform management.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About You

With a background in a complex, matrixed People & Culture environment, you will be passionate about people leadership, delivering innovative organisational change and advocating for an exceptional employee experience. More specifically, you will have:
- Relevant degree qualification in Communications, Human Resource Management or a related discipline and equivalent industry experience- Solid understanding of internal communications, employee experience and learning and development practices.- Demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team and provide exceptional level of customer service to the business- Strong communication and project management skills- Strong commercial acumen, high analytical capability, and capacity to consult within a dynamic environment of a fast moving and diverse business- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure- Self-motivated, is solutions focused, optimistic, pragmatic, and resilient
