**About the role**:
An exciting leadership opportunity has become available in Merri-bek’s Aged and Community Services branch. The position involves the coordination and leadership of a dedicated team in the provision of Social Connections and Activities programs based in community venues and in the wider community. This role focusses on the development and implementation of social connection initiatives that meet our community’s needs. Regular liaison with partners and stakeholders, this position focusses on the development and evaluation of programs, responding to identified community need with a focus to improving community access.

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:

- Tertiary qualification in the Human Services (or related discipline, e.g. Social Work, nursing etc) and/or substantial experience in a similar position.
- Highly developed communication skills and experience working with a range of people and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in program development, design, implementation and evaluation
- Previous experience leading teams
- Experience in working with clients in a health or community service, including assessing needs
- Experience in recruitment and training
