**About the role**:
Supervise daily waste collection operations to ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of Council’s kerbside collection services, across all streams and services delivered directly by Council.
Work with the Coordinator Waste Operations to ensure daily resource needs are met and drivers have clarity on their tasks and objectives for the day., provide day to day staff supervision, management of time sheets, and be the conduit to addressing any immediate concerned
Driving/Operating Waste Vehicles and delivering kerbside waste collection services as necessary, either a specific collection run or on a more ad hoc basis addressing customer requests, e.g. missed bins or to support other drivers to achieve service outcomes.

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:
- Proven experience in leading people, including day-to-day supervision, development of work and development plans and providing constructive feedback.
- Superior customer service skills and demonstrated experience delivering service excellence in a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience of ways to engage with people to achieve open communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, including setting priorities, planning and organising one's own work to complete assigned tasks.
- Experience in planning and delivering waste collection services.
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence with a Heavy Rigid Licence Endorsement and experience operating side and rear loader compactor trucks.
