**The Role:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service ensuring all relevant laws and regulations are observed
- Lead and mentor a team of educators - provide guidance in all areas of the National Quality Framework
- Connect with members of the school community and alumni
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Shape the service environment from the ground up
- Develop opportunities for growth within your team
- Encourage reflective practices and quality improvement
- Ensure the service is adhering to the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the guiding principles
- Ensure the educational framework, My Time, Our Place (MYTOP), is followed and an educational program is in place by involving all stakeholders
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and school community
- **$40-$45** per hour dependent on Experience and Relevant Qualifications + Super $79000 - $89000 + Super **($87295 - $98345 including super)**:

- Hours of operation:

- **BSC**: 6:30am - 8:30am
- **ASC**: 2:30pm - 6pm

**The Service**:

- Licenced for 100 children, however attendance will sit around 40 children initially.
- The service is not yet assessed, as it is new.
- This service does not operate vacation care. You will be working at a different service in Westmead or North Parramatta in the school holidays.
- The service is in a pack up/pack down indoor environment. They also have access to outdoor spaces within the school.
- 6:30am open and 6pm close.
- You will be required to work opening and closing shifts initially, until the service attendance increases, with administration time to be negotiated to suit your needs.
- Block shifts will be negotiated to accommodate meetings/training until the service grows, and you will have the potential to set block shifts once the service attendance increases.
- Strong connection with the school’s principal who is excited to have a service opening up in the school.

**About you**
- **Required**:Leadership experience in OSHC or ECE setting.
- **Strong knowledge of the NQF and NQS.**:

- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and children.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Must have the ability to mentor educators effectively.
- **Minimum**: Certificate III in Education and Care.
- You have a natural drive to upskill a team.
- You have a positive attitude and you’re ready to the next step in your career.
- **Current ‘CHCPRT001’** - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ training (or willingness to obtain
- 1 day training).
- **Current ‘HLTAID012’** - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’ Certificate (or willingness to obtain
- 1 day training).
- **Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check.**:

- **Child Safety -** We are looking for someone who understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
- **COVID-19 Vaccination**: Double Vaccination and can provide proof of vaccination status.
