Jolly Kids Early Learning Centre in Merrylands is a vibrant and nurturing service committed to delivering high quality early childhood education and care. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor to lead our dedicated team and continue fostering the warm, welcoming environment we’ve proudly built.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and inspire a team of educators in providing high-quality care and education.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Ensure the service complies with the National Quality Framework (NQF), relevant legislation, and Quality Standards.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all administrative, safety, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Foster a child-safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong knowledge of child development (ages 0-6 years).
- In-depth understanding of Child Protection and Child Safe Standards.
- Familiarity with current pedagogical approaches in early childhood education.
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills.
- Proven ability to maintain up to date documentation, risk assessments, emergency drills, and compliance checklists.
- Strong commitment to children’s health, safety, and well-being.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

**Required Qualifications and Certificates**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Child Protection Certificate
- Current Child Safe Standards Training
- Foundations of Safe Sleep Training Certificate
- Food Handler/Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
