These solutions are based on extensive engineering expertise, technology and systems that ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational health, safety and environmental management.
Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for 30 years and employee over 220 people
**Description**:
This positionThis position is part of the Senior Leadership team and is responsible for providing support, guidance and advice on all HR and Learning and Development related practices across the business.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager and based from our Somersby depot your leadership and influencing skills will be valued as you lead a small team and develop strong strategic partnerships with business stakeholders to support the growth of our organisation.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
Partnering with managers to provide advise on all employment relations managers including coaching and disciplinary matters
Develop and manage the People and learning strategy including identifying, developing and implementing new recruitment and retention strategies
Manage the EA negotiation process
Manage the performance management process across the organization
Manage implementation of L&D framework and pathways
Oversee management of the internal trainers including SPA Verification of Competency (VOC) system
Oversee all training and professional development ensuring that all employees have the skills and knowledge required to complete their roles effectively
Ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Position Criteria**:
3+ Years experience in Human Resources Management positions
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field
Certified HR practitioner is highly desirable
Strong understanding of national and state laws related to HR
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills
Familiarity with HR software (ELMO highly desirable)
Ability to interpret multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Time Management & Task prioritisation to meet business needs
Some overnight and possible Interstate travel would be expected in the role
