Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity in the growing building industry? This is a permanent opportunity located at our Hebel Manufacturing site in Somersby.
The Role
Reporting to the National General Manager, Operations, this role is responsible for aligning and executing Hebel operations capability to the overall business strategy and successfully delivering operational, safety, sustainability and people related outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Active leadership of the business.
- Coach and mentor to instil a growth and learning mindset within the Operations team, with a focus on safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, quantify benefits, and track, to achieve optimum performance and product quality.
- Ensure team development through training via assessment and skills matrix, inclusive of succession planning and upskilling.
- Utilise Lean Manufacturing Principles to create customer value.
- Sustainable delivery of budget safety, quality, supply service, and cost metrics.
- Provide clear Technical Direction to achieve strategic objectives.
- Support transformation projects by providing technical solutions, cost models and project management.
- Prepare and evaluate capital expenditure requests and ensure delivery via effective project and change management.
- Maintain excellent working relationships within and outside the business.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Significant operational leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Change agent & change management skills.
- Extensive forecasting and budgeting experience
- Strong leadership, communication & relationship skills.
- Solutions focused approach to problem solving.
- Strategic, innovative, and flexible mindset.
- Tertiary qualified in a Science or Engineering discipline.
