Our client, an inclusive independent school in Keysborough with an excellent reputation, is seeking an experienced, passionate Early Childhood Advocate to take on an Educational Leader role.

Having opened in 2021, the 120+ place state-of-the-art Early Learning Centre (ELC) provides excellence in early childhood education and care for all children in partnership with families.

The centre is located alongside the primary and secondary school. It has a dedicated and experienced Wellbeing Team, equipped with professional counsellors, speech pathologists and support staff working onsite to ensure children's diverse learning and emotional needs are catered for. There is an in-house Chef who prepares ahealthy and nutritious menu offered to children, with meals made free daily, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

The curriculum is Reggio Emilia inspired, open-ended and we plan for both theindividual child and the group of children as well by the National Quality Standard, the National Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

**About the role**
- Able to plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Prior leadership experience in mentoring Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
- Capable of engaging children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development
- Knowledge of many early years theories with no "one size fit's all."
- Strong understanding of image of child and how to support educators with this
- Team player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects upon best practice
- Flexible with routines and able to support multiple rooms requiring assistance
- Oversight to ensure each room in the centre is immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment

An Educational Leader has an influential and vital role in inspiring, motivating, and challenging or extending educators' practice. We see the role as highly collaborative and critical to the centre's success. Inquiry and reflection significantly impact educators' influential work with the children and their families.

**About you**
- Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
- Proven experience in a similar role
- A relevant early childhood education qualification, preferably ECT or Diploma
- A high standard of communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven willingness to learn and improve.
- Passion, empathy, enthusiasm and a love of contemporary pedagogical
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

**Requirements**:

- Current ACECQA-approved degree qualification (diploma may be considered)
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Current Child Protection Training or desire to get one

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
