**The role**:
The Systems Support Analyst provides expertise, advice and support to ensure SEW’s Health, Safety and Environment digital platforms are well managed and optimised to support the delivery and achievement of key target outcomes and strategic objectives.
This position plays a key role in the implementation of new systems as business needs are identified, supports the delivery of enhancements to ensure systems continue to meet the evolving needs of our business, its stakeholders and legislative requirements; and provides advice and support to ensure high levels of data integrity and accuracy are maintained. In addition, the position supports the delivery of key health and safety related reporting requirements to both internal and external stakeholders and contributes towards the delivery of safety and wellbeing projects as relevant.
This is a maximum term contract until August 2026 to cover a maternity leave.
**Who are you?**:
- Reporting to the Safety and Wellbeing Systems Lead and working closely with the Senior Systems Analyst in Business Technology Services (BTS), the skills and experience required to succeed in this position include;
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and minimum 2 years' experience in similar roles.
- IT systems management (administration, configuration and development) - preferably health and safety systems (SAI360).
- Good knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries, HTML and Java scripts and working with relational databases.
- Thorough understanding of system development life cycle process and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum.
- Advanced data analytics capabilities, including an ability to extract key insights from data.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality of information and attention to detail and accuracy.
- A strong motivation to work efficiently unsupervised, drive to meet deadlines and the ability to prioritise actions.
- A demonstrated ability to work with a range of stakeholders and diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or participating in projects would be desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills to resolve issues.
- High proficiency and literacy across the Microsoft suite of products, including Excel and Power BI skills.
