**Position Information**:
Malabar Public School celebrates inclusion and diversity in our community with 311 students in thirteen mainstream classes.

15% of students are from language backgrounds other than English from 26 different backgrounds and 7% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach infants and primary K-6, with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver quality differentiated and engaging teaching and learning programs with high level outcomes for students in literacy and numeracy.

Demonstrated capacity to incorporate the teaching of Aboriginal Culture throughout the KLA's.

Demonstrated capacity to deliver quality programs in the teaching of Science using innovative, collaborative practices.

Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and to connect positively with whole school community.
