The Office of the Valuer-General (OVG) is currently seeking Registrations of Interest from property valuers to join our specialised in-house valuation team across a variety of roles.

The Valuer-General is the State’s independent authority on property valuations and is responsible for the delivery of fair and equitable statutory valuations for all properties in South Australia - in accordance with the _Valuation of Land Act 1971_

**The Role**:

The Office of the Valuer-General (OVG) is currently seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from property valuers to join our specialised in-house valuation team across a variety of roles.

In addition to our primary function, our Office is involved in State-leading property valuation matters, one-off projects, the review and analysis of property values, report writing and providing property advice to other Government agencies. A role within the OVG offers a diverse range of work, giving you the opportunity to get involved in projects that you would not be exposed to in the private sector.

The OVG has a broad range of career opportunities for existing valuation professionals, across three teams covering varying areas of the business:

- Advisory: coordinating and undertaking specialist valuation activities to assist other government agencies
- Regulatory: auditing and providing quality assurance processes across data and valuations prepared by our service provider
- Statutory: administering the OVG grievance processes for property owners and the Valuer-General

**Essential** **Qualifications and Licences**
Qualified as a valuer and a current Driver’s Licence.

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
- Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.
- Some intra/interstate travel may be required.

Variable / Depending on experience
