**Your role**

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team in a 12-month maternity leave contract role. Reporting to the Assistant Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating the implementation of marketing communication and creative strategies focusing on digital and social media platforms including Seasol website.

You’ll be tasked with creating and implementing strategies that effectively communicate Seasol’s brand message to its target audience. This involves a range of activities including, content creation, social media management, website management, campaign execution and agency relations.

Seasol offers a variety of products including liquid seaweed tonics, lawn care solutions, plant foods, pest control products, and specialty items all designed to support different gardening needs. We want you to live the joy of the garden and showcase to consumers how they can grow so much more than a garden using our range of Seasol products.

You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team so a positive approach to teamwork is a must - you’ll be someone who gets stuck into whatever is needed to get the job done.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce high-quality content including content calendars
- Develop and implement social media strategies and manage social media presence including influencers
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns including tracking performance and analysing results
- Assist with the modification, design and production of brochures, all printed/electronic sales aids, point of sale, technical bulletins and fact sheets
- Producing reports and drawing insights to inform future strategies
- Attending functions including assisting with event planning and trade shows

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Digital and Social Marketing or equivalent years of experience
- Excellent written communication skills with confidence in drafting content
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Digital experience in managing website content and/or online advertising campaigns
- Social media experience in managed Meta and TikTok accounts with experience in creating reels and video posts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop and knowledge in WordPress
