Paralegal opportunities for commercial law firm in Sydney

**Your new company**

Established law firm delivering high quality, tailored services across areas of commercial and corporate law. With dedicated staff across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, they offer a range of legal services including banking and finance, commercial and corporate, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, insolvency, debt recovery, property, family law, and estate planning. Two opportunities have arisen for Paralegals to join the firm.

**Your new role**

**Drafting Paralegal**: Playing a crucial role in supporting the legal team by preparing, reviewing and organising legal documents. Duties include: Preparing banking and finance facility documentation, mortgages and security documents; managing end-to-end re-finance and banking and finance files, from start to settlement, adhering to the legal requirements of all Australian jurisdictions; using PEXA for streamlined and efficient electronic conveyancing; handling land title transactions, commercial leasing, residential and commercial conveyancing; communicating with clients, banks and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions; and working closely with lawyers to successfully settle files.

**What you'll need to succeed**

**Drafting Paralegal**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years' NSW paralegal and legal drafting experience
- Strong understanding of banking and finance transactions
- Confidence in preparing conveyancing documentation and correspondence
- Experience using MS Office Suite, PEXA and Elodgement
- Keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with lawyers and clients
- Understanding of trust deeds and SMSFs beneficial

**Paralegal**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ NSW paralegal experience
- Adept at using Microsoft Office and PEXA
- Experience drafting and preparing accurate documentation and correspondence
- A proactive mindset and ability to work well independently
- Commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
