**The Role**

The Department of Defence EWIS - Active Electronically Scanned Array Systems Program Office (AESA SPO) is seeking a highly professional, motivated APS4 ILS Practitioner to assist with the management of materiel logistics support.
An APS4 ILS Practitioner Sustainment is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex materiel logistics work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to have a good understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
The successful applicant will be required to share information, monitor work practices, set work priorities and develop local procedures. You will contribute to the establishment of a contract for International support and have responsibility for monitoring and managing associated financial activities. You will also assist with International transportation of items, provide ILS guidance to projects and contribute to the development and implementation of ILS & Sustainment Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

The Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Branch (EWIS) sits within the Department of Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). Charged with the responsibility of acquiring and sustaining a broad range of electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems in both tactical and strategic domains, EWIS provides its team with a wide range of exciting career opportunities.
Within the Branch, EWIS AESA SPO manages the introduction of innovative AESA technology and is the initial point of contact for engagements between the Department of Defence and CEA Technologies - a supplier of world-leading radar technologies that are designed, developed and manufactured in Australia.
- Possess integrated logistic support skills and experience;
- Support the team by using various Defence Systems, databases, analysis and logistics tools. Have basic procurement experience;
- Be prepared to complete additional logistics courses to increase knowledge and skill base;
- Be enthusiastic and willing to learn;
- Be able to work within a diverse team; and
- Be willing to work in a fast paced and complex environment.
