Our welcoming Double Bay family is looking for a confident, experienced, and nurturing full-time nanny to support their three young children as they settle into their new home and routine in Sydney after many years abroad. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a warm and capable nanny to become a valued part of a down-to-earth, loving household.

The children are joyful, affectionate, and full of personality. The role requires someone who can balance care for multiple young children, lead age-appropriate activities, and manage routines confidently and calmly. The family encourages outdoor play, imaginative engagement, and screen-free time wherever possible.

Both parents are frequently present and involved in daily life and enjoy working collaboratively with their nanny. While Mum is at home and hands-on with the kids, she is often in and out of the house, and the nanny must feel confident in both shared care and sole-charge scenarios. Some mornings, the nanny may assist with errands or light grocery shopping when Mum is with the children.

Typical days include school drop-off, outings and activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing naps and transitions, and supporting afternoon routines once the eldest is home. During nap times, the nanny will assist with child-related tasks such as laundry, tidying, and light food prep. The family places a strong emphasis on nutrition, kindness, and good manners, and is seeking a nanny who aligns with their values and parenting style.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Organise and plan creative, engaging, and educational activities
- Build a strong, positive relationship with the child
- Ensure a safe, hygienic environment
- Manage child-related household chores, including tidying and laundry
- Prepare nutritious and healthy snacks and meals
- Maintain all aspects of the child’s care routine

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

- Non-smoker
- Ability to swim is essential
- Valid driver’s licence and own car preferred
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain ASAP)
- Minimum 3 years full-time experience working with children, especially babies and toddlers
- At least 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Criminal Record Check
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour

- Diploma (required)

- nannying or childcare: 5 years (required)
