Due to business growth, we have an opportunity for a 6 month, fixed term contract to join our fast paced Payroll department.
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be joining a very cohesive and friendly team where you will be given on the job training and opportunities to advance within the network.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Manage the setup of new employees in Preceda, ensuring receipt of executed employment contract, new starter form, tax declaration form, and superannuation form
- Assist with processing of end to end fortnightly payruns, calculate and complete the periodic payment of salaries and wages for employees, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data and coding, and on-time delivery in accordance with the I-MED payroll schedule
- Leave reconciliations
- Manage the payroll records of terminated/departed employees in accordance with legislation
- Provide high level support to the business
- The ability to work to tight deadlines

**Key selection criteria**:

- 3+ years end to end payroll experience in a medium to large company, including exposure to and an understanding of awards and EAs
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Moderate excel skills
- The ability to work autonomously along with supportive team player qualities
- Experience working with Preceda and Kronos is highly regarded
