We are seeking an experienced, people-focused Production Supervisor to join our client at Burleigh. Our client is a leading local and global meat expert and their Burleigh facility focuses on preparing products for retail.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will allow you to lead and manage daily production operations, develop and communicate expectations and continuously drive for improvement.

**The Opportunity**:
Following a safety-first approach, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for quality of products, processes and requirements whilst developing a positive and efficient work culture.
- Provide leadership and guidance to production employees
- Promote and take action to create a high-performance team culture
- Actively manage employee performance
- Ensure production specifications, standards and other requirements are met
- Report on KPI's, including safety, quality, plan and process compliance
- Manage staff coverage including training and coaching the team, rostering and leave management
- Identify areas of improvement, communicate ideas and/or adjust existing procedures with your Production Manager
- Liaise with other departments, including Warehouse, Quality and Planning
- Lead and contribute to site projects as required
- Other duties as directed by the Production Manager

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Leadership position
- Strong planning, organisational and decision making skills
- Proven ability to implement process and improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
- Current Australian driver’s license
