**An opportunity for a Leading Hand to join our team at our Truganina Warehouse.**

**About The Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join us at our Truganina Warehouse as a Leading Hand, working afternoon shift.

Drawing from your well-rounded experience and demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, you will be a pivotal member of the team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be accountable for the effective and efficient warehousing and distribution function.

Working afternoon shift 2:00pm to 10:15pm, you will take on a hands-on role responsible for:

- Loading/unloading containers and trucks,
- Put away of product,
- Picking,
- Stock checks
- Assist in maintaining an effective distribution system
- Inventory management
- Sorting and preparing all related documentation,
- Assist in induction and training of warehouse personnel,
- Work with the team and warehouse manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices,
- Ensure on-time delivery service is maintained;
- Working as a key member in a well-functioning team.

**About you**

Skills & experience you have include:

- Demonstrated experience in warehousing and distribution, preferable in a medium to large warehouse,
- Current forklift/stock picker license (or willingness to obtain),
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities,
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills,
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office,
- Sound time management and organisational capabilities,
- Ability to work and contribute within a team
- Current right to work in Australia.

Qualifications in warehousing and logistics or related discipline will be highly regarded.
