Macmahon is embarking on an exciting new cyber strategy, covering a vast span of cyber and security disciplines. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cyber Team Lead to join the team at the Perth Head Office, located near the Perth Airport. This role will be fundamental in the formal establishment and governance of cyber initiatives for the entire Macmahon group.

As part of the technology team, the role will report to the Manager - Service Delivery & Technical Operations. The role will have two direct reports, in addition to utilising the specialist skills of consultants and wider technology team members as required. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

- Form and lead an internal team of security specialists to achieve excellent operational outcomes
- Lead the development and maintenance of the technology security governance framework, policies, standards, processes and procedures
- Lead continuous improvement by reviewing and maintaining Macmahon’s technology services to align with the technology security governance framework, policies and standards
- Build and manage positive relationship with the business by developing an understanding of business priorities,
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of cyber security industry trends and technology innovations and determine their applicability to improving Macmahon’s technology services
- Lead internal risk audits related to cyber security, providing information and reporting to validate and demonstrate best practice compliance
- Oversee technical and functional support to the business for Macmahon’s technology systems specifically around cyber security or as otherwise directed
- After cyber-related incidents, ensure analysis and resolution of root causes / problems is completed

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

- Degree / diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent experience (>5 years)
- 2 years experience in leading teams
- Experience delivering complex projects and rollouts in a corporate environment
- Excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus, evidenced through courteous and professional dealings with all stakeholders
- Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, SANS or related security certifications
- Strong knowledge in networking, operating systems and configuration management
- Excellent technical skills working with security and infrastructure products.
