Easy Authoring is seeking an experienced Manager in Portfolio Planning & Controls to lead the development and implementation of an integrated and consistent framework.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Create a robust, accessible, and user-friendly portfolio management framework of policies, procedures, tools, and templates to ensure consistency in the development of robust capital project and program business cases across the portfolio.
- Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging portfolio-related issues and present recommendations to support objectives in line with established portfolio plans, budgets, timeframes, policy, and other priorities.
- Collaborate and consult with project directors to support resource needs, identify risks and agree on milestones, deliverables, and timeframes that facilitate optimal and seamless project delivery.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders to build an effective project management interface and ensure alignment with funding and other resourcing requirements.
- Develop and oversee a user-friendly reporting system that provides up-to-date project and portfolio status, records of variation, and timely and accurate project visualisation.
- Develop and continually improve a suite of reporting metrics (including visualisation tools) to analyse and communicate portfolio status, tracking, performance, and targets, including devising metrics to identify systemic issues and to generate insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Identify, anticipate, and assess opportunities to optimise the portfolio of projects to maximise value and realise SASP objectives

**Essential criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in urban planning, civil engineering, project management or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
