Animal Emergency Service (AES) is one of Australia’s leading emergency and critical care referral centres. We deliver world class emergency veterinary medicine and gold standard patient care. Our 24/7 Hobart clinic is always bustling with exciting cases and an energetic atmosphere.

**About the Role**
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Support Officer for our AES Hobart hospital. The BSO will provide administrative support to our leadership team and support with schedule coordination. Reporting to our Operations Manager, this role is part time with up to **48hrs per fortnight**, offering work life harmony and flexibility.

The role operates in a solutions-focused environment and is responsible for:

- Roster development and coordination
- Training, event and travel coordination
- Maintenance coordination and liaising with suppliers
- Ordering (uniforms, prescription labels, gifts, snacks)
- Fleet management
- Policies and protocol document management including WHS
- Support to the Leadership Team as required

- Demonstrated business support or scheduling experience
- Self-starter with the desire to take ownership of the role
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative approach to problem solving, communicating, and working within a rostering platform quickly
- Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Ability to develop and manage multiple stakeholder relationships at one time across the hospital
- Excellence in creating a memorable, warm, and professional atmosphere for clients and team members
