**About the Role**

As a **Disability Support Worker**, you will provide personalized care and support to participants, assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement. You will work within a supportive team, following individualized care plans to enhance the well-being and quality of life of those in your care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **personal care** including showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with **domestic tasks** such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Support **community participation**, including social outings and recreational activities.
- Provide **transportation assistance**, including driving participants to medical appointments, school, and shopping.
- Work **flexible shifts** across weekdays, weekends, and evenings as part of a rotating roster.

**Selection Criteria**:

- **Minimum 1 year experience** in the disability, aged care, or community health sector (essential).
- **Certificate III or IV** in Community Services, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field.
- **Current First Aid & CPR Certificate** (or willingness to obtain).
- **Current National Police Clearance** (no older than 12 months).
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check** (or willingness to obtain).
- **Current Working with Children Check** (WWCC) (if applicable).
- **Current Full Driver’s License** and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- **COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate** (as per government requirements).
