**What you’ll do**
- Provide brilliant customer service by making the complex simple whilst ensuring our customers’ needs are met via our inbound contact centre
- Engage with our existing customers in relation to their insurance policies or enquiries to find out what option is best suited for them
- Provide knowledge about the brand and products that are on offer
- Strive to find the right level of insurance protection to enable customers to drive or ride forward with confidence knowing they are covered by Shannons
- Contribute to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements.
**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in delivering high quality customer experience within required timeframes.
- Experience working to achieve customer sales and service targets
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to work as a supportive team member
- Committed to self-development and opportunities to increase capability in role.
- Computer literacy and navigation skills.
**Hours & Training**
We are recruiting for **part time** across the following shift patterns:
- **Option 1**: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday - 30 hours per week
- **Option 2**: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 30 hours per week
- **Option 3**: Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday - 30 hours per week
All above shift options have a start window of 8am and 11am. A start window means you that you can be rostered on to commence your shift during these times. This roster will be provided at least 4 weeks in advance.
You will undergo 6 weeks of training Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. The initial 6 weeks of training will be full time onsite/virtual classroom style training, including high support training
**What do you need to work from home?**
This role is a hybrid role and will allow you to work from home and you will be provided with a laptop however, there may be an expectation for you to be onsite and connect with your team. To successfully work from home, you will need the following:
- Home phone line or VOIP connection
- Internet connection
- You will be provided with a laptop, however you will need to have dual screens, keyboard, mouse and webcam
- Ergonomic set up with desk and chair in a quiet, private space
