The Medical Administrative Officer provides high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the medical practice. The role involves front desk reception, patient scheduling, maintaining medical records, billing, and supporting the clinical team with accurate and timely administrative tasks.
**Main Duties & Tasks - Reception & Customer Service**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional,
- courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, manage enquiries, and direct
calls appropriately.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient
appointments using clinical software.Administrative Supportprivacy and health information laws.documentation as required.patient billing accurately.

Responsible for processing EFTPOS and cash payments, daily reconciliation, and supporting basic bookkeeping. Maintain accurate data entry in practice management systems while ensuring confidentiality of patient information. Assist in preparing reports for audits and compliance. Provide administrative and clinical support by liaising with healthcare providers, managing referrals, scanning documents, and coordinating bookings. Ensure all areas are kept tidy and professional.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $33,000.00 - $66,560.00 per year
