**How will I help?**

The Analyst role will be working in the Data Platforms Business unit primarily supporting our Marketing and Segment partners. You will work closely across multiple business partners to inform performance and strategy.

You will be required to manage a portfolio of reports, quickly turnaround requests as well as completing longer term analysis and report development, all to our high Data Platforms standards.

Our vision is to take Westpac to leadership through actionable information, insight, and advice.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Meet governance framework of regular reporting to ensure performance is monitored, trends are identified, MI is effective and accurate, and information delivered is repeatable. This framework will include our standards on, but not limited to, documentation, visualisation, functionality, delivery SLAs and report production efficiencies
- Identify and deliver new information solutions or enhancements where current information does not meet stakeholder needs, and provide scoping, sizing and timelines for delivery, all to BPA standards
- Continuous improvement focus—analyse, identify, and recommend improvements to information design and delivery to more effectively meet needs of the customer or improve efficiency of providing information
- Provide timely and accurate information on request, with ability to do so within both immediate and negotiated timeframes.
- Work with stakeholders across various levels, from Senior Management level to analyst level - Effective working relationships required to be successful in this role

**What do I need?**

To be set up for success in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- SQL experience - Basic to intermediate
- Ideally to have but not a must Teradata or any provisional tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solution-minded—able to offer alternatives and be proactive in identifying enhancements
- Verbal and written communication skills, especially relating to stakeholder engagement
- Can come from any industry
