- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognized by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
- A current and valid Working With Children Check.
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.- Essential Skills and Attributes-
- A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard to ensure best practices.
- Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with educators, families and external agencies.
- Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs.
- Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community.Desirable Skills and Knowledge-
- Proven track record as an effective leader or mentor in an early childhood settings.
- Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs.
- Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
- Participation and ability to research and engage in community networking, ongoing training and professional development to remain updated with sector changes.
- Capability to use Storypark for documentation, communication and planning.About us:
