**About the opportunity**

Our client has gone from strength to strength in recent years, so much so they have created a General Manager position to oversee their powerhouse group.

The role requires a leader who can recognise and work with what has made the group successful over the years, yet possess an energy that can reinvigorate parts of the portfolio that has a lot of potential, but is not reaching it's expected performance.

The ownership have found the balance between creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout their day trade, to maximising revenue streams for evening trade including events and private venue hire.

The venues are typically magnets for drawing in crowds throughout the summer so the ability to rise to the pace required during peak seasons is essential, however, the venues remain steady all year round due to loyal following by residents.

This is an incredibly hands on role, working side by side with Restaurant Managers to continuously develop service standards and soft skills, straight through to monitoring group KPI's and P&L management
- Proven experience as a Operations Manager, General Manager, Venue Manager, or Restaurant Manager working for smart-casual operations that are focused on quality, volume, full service
- Multi-site experience is desirable
- Solutions focused leader who will find ways to support teams,
ensure service standards are not compromised, and find ways
to get best outcomes for the business
- Strong financial acumen and an ability to influence positive change through commercial opportunities
- A leader who is all things customer service - _passionate about delivering genuine service, building rapport with guests, and generating more returning customers_
- Strong wine knowledge & WSET accreditation is desirable, but not essential
- Experience in creating development plans, leading E2E performance management processes, create/manage training & onboarding plans, manage food safety & OHS
